Final Staff Appraisal, Kent Police UK 2004
Whilst no one is indispensable, Keith has come as close to this as possible and his departure will leave a significant gap in the unit’s training and operational capacity. Keith has continued to produce valuable work in all aspects of his role. He has grown very quickly and naturally into the position of “stick leader” and I regret that this natural, positive and determined leader, who has the unquestionable respect of his colleagues, will soon be lost to us.  I wish to take this opportunity to say that, having worked alongside Keith for the past 7 years in all aspects of his role; it has been both a privilege and a pleasure to have him as a colleague. He is a talented, dedicated and diligent Police Officer whose personal qualities of honesty, loyalty, integrity and modesty set him apart. His achievements whilst with this unit have been significant and he will be greatly missed by colleagues, commanders and students alike.
Of all the officers I have worked with in this Unit over the past 20 years, it is Keith who, I believe will be the hardest to replace. He is a diligent, zealous, proficient worker who has courage, imagination, ability and a high level of integrity. Along with this is a warm, honest personality with a great sense of humour.
I would commend him to any future employer as a man who will never consciously let you down and who I would unhesitatingly
re-employ, counting myself fortunate to do so.

Critical Incident Response Training, Arlington PD, VA 2011
I am writing you to ensure that you give the appropriate congratulations to Keith Suddes for a “job well done” with the Critical Incident Response class. Keith deserves a lot of credit for giving my department some insight into new “techniques” and proper avenues to take before, during and after a critical incident. He is extremely personable and knowledgeable about the subject matter and his passion for training clearly shined through. I have been in law enforcement for 20 years and an additional 15 years with the fire department; 4 years paid and 11 years as a volunteer. Public Safety has been a major portion of my life and I have seen many trainers…I know when someone is promoting themselves too much or has no desire to be “there.” Keith displayed none of that. He was very forward with his thinking and involved the class with every thing he taught. A good portion of the class content has caused my classmates to pause about our current tactics. I am hoping that Keith would be able to give the 4 day class to other department members, either by coming down to this jurisdiction or “us” going to the college. Please pass along my thanks to Keith

Prosecutor’s Achievement Award, Dec 2008
“For outstanding achievement and dedication in the area of law enforcement training and for demonstrating the true meaning of “Professionalism” in the law enforcement community.”

Adjunct Professor Centenary College, NJ 2007
In the classroom Keith is a highly effective instructor, presenting the material in a clear and understandable manner and always challenging the students to exercise critical thinking. Keith has established a reputation within the local law enforcement area, and has provided training sessions in the areas of police tactics and officer safety. His knowledge in these areas is in-depth and he is able to relate the material in a way that police officers easily relate to. I thoughtI had a bit of knowledge in these areas, but seeing Keith present it from the United Kingdom perspective made me realize that we in the U.S. can learn much by looking at it from a U.K. point of view.
